With the goal to encourage participation and value every level of mushroom enthusiasts, the Prize Categories include submissions in each of the following categories:

Largest Find
Rarest Find
Most Observations
Most Research Grade Observations
Most Species
Best Photograph
Best Mushroom Selfie :)
Farthest from the Nature Center
Closes to the Nature Center parking lot

Judges include local mycology enthusiasts Xuan and David Sibell, photographer Tim LaBarge, Friends of Tryon Creek Staff and PSU Capstone Students.
