Hello, all interested Mt. Diablo butterfly observers and counters!

For 2021, the Mt. Diablo Count is on June 1st. Please PM me if you are interested in participating and don’t already have the count coordinator’s email. This year, the kind folks at the State Park require all drivers’ license plate numbers before the count as a part of the permit.

The count coordinator is still deciding how he wants to conduct the count. Before COVID we traditionally met in the morning to assign routes and then met at the end for the wrap up. It’s important you connect with him so he can assign routes remotely if he decides to (besides-he needs your plate number!).
