Bishopsteignton's First Bioblitz

We're feeling pretty excited ! Sustainable Bishop working with Bishopsteignton Parish Council are planning our first Bioblitz .. BIO what ? .. A Bio blitz is an event that focuses on finding and identifying as many species as possible in a specific area over a short period of time. We will be meeting at Lawns End on Saturday 20th April and surveying the orchard and meadow between 10.30 and 12 noon. Surveying equipment is provided courtesy of Devon Wildlife Trust and we will set up a table to help everyone try and identify their finds. Cake will be supplied as a little treat. We look forward to meeting everyone at this first event , no skills needed save an enthusiasm to learn about our natural environment.
