Embarking on the adventure of "Mammals of the Quabbin," I've been having a blast exploring my favorite natural spot and documenting the incredible wildlife that calls it home. I finally kicked off this project in December 2023 when I felt I had the know-how to make it happen. So far, it's been going really well, and it's been awesome to see the community come together!

My main passion is in North American mammals like moose, deer, river otters, and beavers. I spend lots of time in the woods hoping to encounter these animals. I also enjoy heading into the field to spot reptiles.

In 2023, I was lucky to witness sightings of river otters, moose, beavers, bobcats, mink, red and gray foxes, black bears, skinks, hog-nosed snakes, milksnakes, ringneck snakes, ratsnakes, and worm snakes. For 2024, I'm hoping for more encounters with these guys and fingers crossed, my first Elapids and a Kingsnake. It's all about appreciating the little wonders of nature and having some fun along the way!
