Physaria vicina, or Montrose bladderpod, a member of the mustard family (Brassicaceae), was first discovered near Montrose by Jim Reveal in 2002 in back yard of a friend's neighbor (hence, vicina, or neighbor). Unlike most bladderpods which have yellow flowers, these flowers are white. Flowering stems extend outward, usually close to the ground, from a basal rosette. I have found it in the Billy Creek State Wildlife area, among other places.
