Importing shapefiles into iNaturalist projects

Hi

I want to start a project similar to City Nature Challenges that allows my company to monitor biodiversity across its various sites globally. I note that these have boundaries, similar to the shape files used in Google Earth or Arcview GIS. Like the one used here:

Can anyone help me with how to upload the boundaries?

On the top of website click on more, choose Places, there start a new place and add a kml file.
