Teaching with Inaturalist: Student Journals

Hello fellow instructors of field based classes in the time of COVID,

This is a journal entry to explore the utility of organizing student observations by associating them with journal posts.

One difficulty I am anticipating and have somewhat experienced is locating the posts I want to see amongst all the observations in a project. One solution may be to assign journal posts which can be looked up by title.

For this journal post I will pretend that I was assigned to make four observations of the plants in a vernal pool.
