Teenager in Illinois who loves admiring all sorts of native plants and animals. I have a main interest in herptiles and plants (particularly mosses), although I like to observe and research any plant or animal. That being said, please realize that sometimes the best I can do may be a Family or Genus, some species (like mosses) can be very tricky to ID down to species level.
My favorite moss is genus Fissidens (which is very hard to ID without microscope pictures), and my favorite native herptile is the Rough and Smooth Greensnake.
