Great Cocky Count 2022 now open for registrations

Great Cocky Count 2022
Great Cocky Count registrations are now open.
Help us count Black-Cockatoos across southwest WA as they fly into their evening roosts on Sunday April 3 at sunset. This annual citizen science survey provides essential data to estimate population trends for our threatened cockies and to help protect critical habitat.
Registrations close March 13. No experience is required. Training workshops will be held in various locations around the south-west – details of the workshops will be shared on our website, Facebook page and in future eNews editions.
Click here to register and join the 2022 Great Cocky Count.
