What a Trip!
Rick and Julie Brake hosted Heidi and Howard Snell on a 6 month, 16,000 mile wander about through remote regions of the northern half of Australia from May through October of 2022. We travelled in two off-road camping trucks spending 90% of our nights in the rigs and avoiding pavement when we could - just the way both couples like to wander.
For us (Heidi and Howard) is was one of our three major “adventures of a lifetime”. We learned a lot and thanks to Julie’s enthusiasm for natural history observation we eventually found iNaturalist. This project groups the observations from that trip we’ve managed to contribute.
