I am a living organism like everyone else.

Since as long as I can remember, I have always been fascinated by the natural world. That childish fascination doesn’t abandon me, and it deepens as time goes on. When I was still a young, mindless kid, I habitually played in the sands of the coastal areas of the province, trying to find shells and bring them home. I also like rearing butterflies and moths, watching ants walk in a straight line and how they wander aimlessly, and waiting for spiders until they catch their prey.

My love for Lepidoptera began during the pandemic when I started to rear some. But in addition to defining their generic and specific distinctions or providing an account of metamorphoses, I also aim to aid in the comprehension of the specific larval host plants utilized by native species of moths and butterflies.

Please mention or DM me politely with the correction if I incorrectly identified or noted something and it interferes with the accuracy of an observation. I am always eager to improve myself and learn from others. If you need assistance, especially in identifying lepidopterans [that are native or endemic to the Philippines], you can always DM me. I'll try to be as helpful as I can.
