Hey there. I'm a geologist who found her love for plants and ecology along the way. I've done several research projects involving plant ecology and systematics while working on my undergrad. I've helped with tree surveys and experimented with ways to grow native plants in the university greenhouse. I worked for our local non-for-profit, Little Wabash River Nature Preserve controlling non-native species and the Riparian team for Fort Wayne Parks and Rec. I'm currently working for an environmental consulting company as an Environmental Scientist. I hope to become a naturalist and am looking into getting my masters in plant ecology. In the meantime, my weekends are in the nature to find cool things our planet created. I have a deep love for plants and pretty much everything else on Earth...besides ticks and the people destroying the planet.
