I am an entomologist specialized in Coleoptera Chrysomelidae, currently working at the University of L'Aquila in Italy, where I am a professor of Zoology. My main interests are Systematics, Biogeography and Ecological Modeling in different animal groups. Over the past thirty years, one of my main projects has been about the Afrotropical flea beetle fauna.
