Vegetation ecology is my vocation and insect photography my avocation. I worked in Illinois, Indiana, Arizona, Montana, California, Alaska, Venezuela, and Tanzania. Recently worked in Texas (Corpus Christi and San Antonio) now living in Columbia, MO. Got my undergraduate at Auburn University (B.S. in Zoology) in the late 70's under the tutelage of the likes of George Folkerts, Robert Mount, Carl Dixon, and John Freeman. Got a Masters in Plant Ecology under Phil Robertson at Southern Illinois University - Carbondale. Most photos taken with a Canon SX 70 HS, some with a Canon EOS Rebel T2i.

I think Google will be cutting off my display preference, so I'm moving my insects of Boone County to Flicker https://www.flickr.com/photos/lfelliott/albums/72157664507266981/page1
