I have volunteered as a field worker at Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge since July 2011. Recently, I received my 10,000 hour volunteer certificate from U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Primarily I'm interested in native fishes at Ash Meadows which leads to assisting with aquatic invasive species eradication/monitoring. I also assist with vegetation management and naucorid (creeping water bugs) surveys to monitor those populations at two habitat sites.
