I am generally interested in the Heteroptera or true bugs as a model group to study the effects of habitat characteristics on the distribution and diversity of insects in fragmented and human-altered landscapes.

I am currently working on ecological traits of true bugs in urban environments, true bug communities in fragmented forests and the diversity of true bugs in tropical forests in Borneo.
