I'm an environmental educator that has taught high school and community college biology since I graduated with my master's degree in biology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010. I'm originally from Knoxville, Tennessee but have lived in Charlottesville, Virginia since 2015. My master's research in Panama was on the ecology of tropical red-eyed tree frog tadpoles and their dragonfly larvae predators. I'm an active member of the Virginia Herpetological Society and Virginia Master Naturalists. My passion is for reptiles and amphibians of Eastern United States, but I am always learning new taxa.
