I am an Associate Professor of Biology at Norfolk State University. My research is focused on microbial genetics but I love studying animals and being outdoors. I teach Integrative Zoology with a greater focus on marine invertebrates than other groups. I have lots of experience collecting animals in the Chesapeake Bay watershed and am interested in documenting the biodiversity of this region, and the changes that occur in response to anthropogenic and climate stressors.
