First iNaturalist walk!

Hello everyone!

Today I decided to go on a walk in the community outside my school. When I walked around I initially saw only houses and cars, which was coool but not what I had set out on my walk for. I eventually reached a street called “stone road” which is humorous because there are a lot rocks on this street. I walked for a few minutes (away from the main road) and saw a lot of trees. Some of my observation for today include what iNaturalist thinks is a yew tree (dark green and spiky), a Norway maple which probably isn’t a map tree but looks like one (super pretty when they change colors!!), an American bittersweet which had these yellow circle thingys that look like fruit (I was tempted to eat one), a white wood aster which is on the ground and had some white daisies (or white flowers), as well as something called “common wrinkle leaved goldenrod” which are basically these small yellow flowers bunched together. The weather today was a tad bit chilly, around 59 degrees and cloudy but not bad overall. Overall, I am happy with my observations today! I saw some pretty trees changing colors and even a cute little bee 🐝(that I made sure to stay away from).
