For The Annals of Dubious Achievements

According to iNaturalist Streak (https://mapsandapps.github.io/inat-streak/), today is the 3000th day I've posted at least one observation to iNaturalist.

No doubt tomorrow will be 3001.

It may or may not be a dubious achievement (I think the same of my own iNaturalist activity sometimes), but I am still in awe -- 8+ years!

...and yesterday was #3009, with today's #3010 undoubtedly to follow. Amazing!!! My little streak of course pales by comparison, but I do know it takes commitment, and a bit of obsession, to make iNat a daily event. If I have no time, the 15 minutes or so I still find for iNat often are the highlight of the day and make me smile like a bandit who stole a little something precious. Rock on, Jim!
