Description

Looks mostly dead, a lot of the leaves were gone but there were batches of healthy green oak leaves on parts of the tree - the branches. Season? Spring/Wet. There are many other oaks around in the area and space.

~1 meters tall, short petioles. Considered whether it could be Q. dumosa but it's occuring here at 1,580 feet which doesn't match Jepson.
