Identified to genus on www.hkwildlife.net/viewthread.php?tid=16684, as follows:
Auchenorrhyncha: Cicadellidae, Coelidiinae, Thagriini
Thagria sp. nr. fossa

"I found description of a few species of this genus on the book : Agriculture and Forestry Insect Fauna of Guizhou Vol.4 (Homoptera : Cicadellidae), by Li Zizhong and Wang Lianmin, 1991. External features of yours match quite well with the description of T. digitata Li 1989 and that of T. fosssa Nielson 1977, the best way to separate them is by the male genitalia. At the end of the book, 20 species of this genus recorded in China are listed, only 2 have been recorded in Hong Kong, T. matsumurai Nielson and T. multispars (Walker), but no description of these 2 can be found in the book.
"I suddenly find a very good book about this subfamily on my book shelves : Zhang Yalin, 1994, A Taxonomic Study of Chinese Coelidiinae (Homoptera : Cicadellidae), Henan Science and Technology Press." ..... which gave more information oh separation of species and their distribution.
